2021 - Lines and Patterns
Autumn 2021
Over the years I noticed that I keep coming back to similar shapes and one shape I am particularly fond of is the oval. This series of pieces explores the oval shape, adding a repetitive element in an elegant necklace, earrings and brooch, which are made from silver and gold wire ovals, whilst two more further pieces are continuing on the theme of stripes from earlier collections. My aim was to create timeless pieces that are subtle in their design, yet lend the wearer a delicate sense of sophistication.
Spring 2021
Following on from last year’s Stripes collection, and being once more restricted time-wise by home-schooling my children, I continued with the idea of lines. I recently re-discovered my old college Isograph pen and started drawing lots of lines and patterns.
These drawings then led onto designs for a new series of pieces. All are made from recycled silver and the 24ct gold stripes are applied in the Korean technique of Keum-Boo.
All pieces are available to purchase from my shop .
